The climate is pleasant for people who suffer from asthma, rheumatoid arthritis or gout. The Costa Blanca is therefore also referred to as the Florida of Europe. The climate is Mediterranean, especially along the coastal region with an average year round temperature of 17,6 degrees. Sandy beaches and low dunes are interchanged by cliffs and steep coasts lines which create a white, blue, ochre and green hued geography.
